How to Organize Your Life and Get Rid of Clutter

Too Much on the Mind?

Too Much on the Mind?

If you live in the world today and have a regular 9 to 5 or you run your own business, you probably can relate to the habit of getting disorganized and cluttered.  I can almost guarantee you probably do a good job clearing things in your life; yet it gets back to clutter and disorganization.  In fact, if you read the rest of this short article, you’ll discover a single strategy that 1% know and do on how to organize your life and get rid of clutter.

What many people do not notice or fail to remember is that clutter is not always just physical clutter.  The physical clutter you have in your house, job, desk, business, all began with the mental clutter in your head or mind.  We tend to get disorganized and cluttered because we are mentally disorganized and cluttered.

Have you ever had this happen to you?  You have an idea to do something and you begin to do it and then 10 more ideas of how to do the task pop into your head?  What about at work; you prepare to do some assignments and when you begin, John in the cubicle next to you ask you to take break with him to check out his new cell phone.  You talk about the assignment while walking and he gives you a bit of feedback.

Now when you come to sit down to do work; your original path is now… you guessed it, cluttered.  How do you fix this?  It’s a single and deadly strategy I use everyday.  I call it the “dumpster.”  This strategy can throw friends and acquaintances that depend on leeching and disturbing your day at all times; but it will really organize your mind from clutter, which will organize your physical presences.

Once you learn this systematically, you can apply it to other areas of your life; like your job, business, home, friends, and so much more.

You can sign up for free to have the dumpster method done for you easily daily by visiting Simpleology 101!

At any rate, this is how the “dumpster” works?  Every evening or morning you get a sheet of paper and write out every single thing you think you need, want or have to do (to attain a goal or simple move forward) and you dump it on a sheet of paper.  Hence, the name “the dumpster,” now if you’re like me and you have a long list of items, then you think about your normal day and absolutely do the top 5 things that are VITAL.

I capitalized it because I want you to know that the top five things MUST be done.  Whatever did not make the list; you simply do not do.  Things that weren’t in your top five simply stay in the dumpster.  It stays out of sight and out of mind; but you can always refer back to it because it was written down.

To be frank; this is how the top earners and top people who get things done operate on a daily basis.  Staying organized becomes simple because you do this every day and you complete what was identified as a ‘must complete’.  This alone will help you immensely if done correctly and consistently.

And think, you didn’t have to pay $4,000 at a seminar to learn it.  Now you know how to organize your life and get rid of clutter by first ridding mental clutter.  You can do this by using the “dumpster” technique and get more done, have more energy, and create more time in your day.  I surely hope this information met your needs.

All the Best,
